One of our youngest vendors, Mikayla (Mikki) Blakey adds charm, wit, and a lot of whimsy to A Bit of Carolina with earrings, keychains, scrunchies and more. Right now she's especially enjoying creating with poured and painted resin shapes and mini brands. (see photos -- so adorable!)

"I just like experimenting with different themes and styles," Mikki says. "I started making things I would like and couldn't find, and it's fun that other people love them, too!"

"I also love meeting and interacting with people," she says. Setting up a vendor table, then, is one of Mikki's favorite things about being part of the ABC family.

Our downtown customers - even more than most - love shopping for unique finds from local companies. Putting a face to a company name and its products helps them both feel great about their purchases and remember that A Bit of Carolina is a store unlike any other because of its many local artisans.
